Equipando Padres Purpose-

Hosting Equipando Padres, a program by SHPE, is a unique opportunity to prepare and bring awareness to parents about why, how, and when the college application process takes place; knowledge that is often unavailable or difficult to access in traditional settings. Unlike standard college awareness sessions that focus primarily on students, this program is designed specifically for parents, empowering them with the understanding and confidence needed to actively guide/encourage their children through every step of higher education. At the same time, students are highly encouraged to attend alongside their parents or guardians, creating a shared learning experience that strengthens family support and ensures everyone is aligned on the path to college success.
