Equinox Candle Making Experience

March 20th marks the Spring Equinox, a time where the elements transition from winter into spring in the Northern Hemisphere, aka for some, the real start of the new year.

We’ll be engaging all our senses using writing, sound meditation, tarot and more as we harness the equinox energy to start our year right– with some wholesome, nourishing, low-pressure vibes. This is more than a workshop, it’s an experience you won't want to miss!

A lil token of our appreciation for coming

Shipping of your candle to your home once it’s fully cured (please note, curing takes about two weeks)

We recommend wearing comfy clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty.

Info: To combat the anxiety we all feel trying new things and meeting new people, we have a very short guided breathing exercise to help support us in grounding ourselves in the space and in our own bodies

Info: Likeeee, is it even the spring equinox if we don't make a fire and burn some stuff?! Nope, no it ain't. A small fire in the garden area is lit and you'll be given the opportunity to write down anything you wish to release from the last year/winter on a piece of paper. Together, we burn them! Pens & paper will be provided.

Info: You're invited to think about what desires you'd like to infuse into your candle. With the aid of a few prompt questions & tarot cards, Afrolion, will help us identify and call in new energy that ignites us. We’ll write our desires on the back of our candle labels so every time we light our candles, we are reigniting our desires; and as the candle burns, those desires we have written will be revealed to us once again.

Info: And with that, let’s get into some candle-making! The lovely sisters of Lalela Candles will
guide you through the process of creating your own beautiful candle and choosing your scent —from fragrance composition to wax temperature, they'll be with you every step of the way!

Info: A closing sound bath led by talented artist and healer, Simran, to seal in the nourishing energies and vibes of the day, and send us home feeling calm, warm and held.
