Equator Coffees & Mike's Bikes: Community Ride for World Bicycle Relief

Join Mike’s Bikes & Equator Coffees for a community road ride benefiting our nonprofit partner, World Bicycle Relief, led by route captain Kemi King.
Registration is free and includes complimentary coffee and pastries at Equator Coffees’ Sausalito cafe before the ride. While there is no cost to participate, we encourage those who are able to make an .

Schedule:

• 8:30AM: Meet at Equator Sausalito for coffee & pastries
• 9:00AM: Roll out!
• 11:00AM: Finish at Mike's Bikes of Sausalito - enjoy "welcome back" refreshments, take a look at the new Soloist from Cervelo & get entered to win an all-expenses-paid trip to 'La Vuelta' in Spain!

Ride Details:

• The Vibe: This is a no-drop ride. We'll keep things social on the flats and regroup at the top of major climbs so everyone can ride at their own pace.
• The Terrain: This is a true road ride with lots of rolling hills. Any bike will do, but we recommend smooth rolling tires for the tarmac!
• Preparation: This is a self-supported ride, so please bring water, nutrition, and basic repair supplies.

What to Bring:

• A well-tuned road bike
• Helmet (required)
• Rear blinky light recommended
• Water and nutrition (for ~2 hours)
• Flat repair kit and spare tube

Suggested Gear:

• Tires: 28mm-35mm is ideal for the Marin tarmac
• Gearing: A 2x drivetrain will serve you best on this route, but any gearing (including singlespeed) will work!
