Adults experiencing memory loss and their caregivers are invited to the library for a 90-minute Memory Cafe. Activities will include:
Welcome song, announcements, and introductions
Making/Eating snacks & drinking coffee, tea, and water
Sharing favorite activities and memories.
Bonus Activity - a short story, if time permits.
Closing song, reminders, and collection of nametags.
What is a Memory Cafe?
Gives adults experiencing memory loss the opportunity to regularly socialize with others.
Participants can drop-in for entire time or come/go as needed
Program is structured to avoid social stigma that often surrounds memory loss.
Everyone is welcome no matter where they are in their journey.
Safe environment with dementia awareness trained library staff.
There is no charge to attend!
