St. Basil’s NSW/ACT with Greek Orthodox Archdioceses of Australia is proud to announce the return of the highly anticipated Epiphany Greek Festival in 2025. Set to take place on Sunday 12th January 2025 at the stunning Carss Bush Park in Carss Park NSW the festival will run from 11 am to 8 pm promising an unforgettable day of Greek culture delicious food and vibrant festivities.
The festival will kick off with the awe-inspiring Blessing of the Waters ceremony a cherished religious observance led by His Eminence Archbishop Makarios of Australia. This profound spiritual event commemorates the baptism of Jesus Christ in the River Jordan symbolising renewal and blessings for the year ahead.
Food lovers will be treated to an array of mouthwatering Greek delicacies from souvlaki and loukoumades to traditional Greek sweets. Over 80 stalls will offer an assortment of authentic Greek products handmade crafts and services that celebrate the rich heritage of Greece. The festival is a chance to indulge in the finest Greek cuisine while browsing unique goods that highlight the country’s cultural legacy.
The Epiphany Greek Festival is designed to be a celebration for the whole family. Young visitors can enjoy kids' entertainment face painting and rides ensuring a fun and memorable experience for everyone.
