Epic Fantasy Author Popup: Eric Munger

A forgotten magic. A kingdom built on buried truths. A war in which the enemy may not be who they’ve been told. Ancient forces awaken, and before the darkness consumes Lavonshia, the Storm Grazer must rise.
Fred & June's Books in Mooresville welcomes Epic Fantasy author Eric Munger on Saturday, October 17th from 12-3pm for an author meet & greet popup featuring his book 'Storm Grazer Rising'.
The first cries began at dawn. By nightfall, the great city of Saan was nothing but ash and silence.
The King’s Army marches east, sworn to wipe out the mysterious Gray Cloaks, traitors accused of wielding a banished magic long dismissed as myth.
Magnus, a young officer more eager to return home than to march into enemy lands, begins to question the war with every burned village and every unsettling encounter. What truth lies beneath the King’s banners, and what price is being paid to preserve them?
Elsewhere across Lavonshia, Aurelia knows nothing of war until the Gray Cloaks disrupt her village’s Harvest Festival with a dire warning. Forced to flee the only home she has ever known, she must decide whether to trust strangers branded as enemies or watch her people fall to a rising darkness.
As soldiers march, villages burn, and loyalties are tested, other lives are drawn into the conflict. Each carries pieces of a truth long buried.
Ancient forces awaken. Prophecy stirs.
And somewhere in the chaos, the Storm Grazer must rise —
or the coming darkness will consume everything.
About The Author:
Eric Munger is the author of Storm Grazer Rising, the first novel in the epic fantasy series The Lavonshia Chronicles. A lifelong North Carolinian, he draws inspiration from his travels, particularly the mountains, forests, and wild places he explores with his wife, Jessica. When he isn’t writing, he can usually be found in a bookstore, watching Carolina basketball, or at home with their cat, Toby, who actually runs the household.
