Envision Resilience: Designs for Living in a Changing Climate
Explore student designs for adaptive futures with accessible community spaces, resilient waterfronts and equitable neighborhoods in Portland and South Portland.
Featuring work from: Cornell University, Harvard University, University at Buffalo, University of Maine Augusta, University of Michigan, University of Virginia, Yale University and the program’s first international partner, the University of Toronto.
A special thanks to all of the local city and community leaders who have embraced the university teams, their site visits and design work.
The Envision Resilience: Designs for Living in a Changing Climate Exhibition will be up at the Portland Public Library through March 2025. This is the first installment of an exhibition series, which will feature work at the South Portland Public Library from late February to April 2025 and the SPACE Gallery in April 2025.
