About this Event
ENT for the PCP is designed to provide primary care providers with up-to-date information on how to recognize, diagnose, and treat common conditions of the ears, nose, and throat, and when referral to a specialist is prudent. Distinguished faculty will showcase novel diagnostic and therapeutic modalities available to patients. Presenters will give didactic lectures on specific topics within ENT subspecialties of allergy, otology, rhinology, laryngology, and head and neck cancer. The educational format includes case studies and interactive sessions, allowing participants the opportunity to attain and integrate new, practical information into their clinical practices to improve patient care and outcomes.
Learning Objectives
- Analyze new and novel treatments of otolaryngologic disorders.
- Apply current guidelines in treating otolaryngologic disorders.
- Review the connection between HPV infection and head and neck cancer.
- Distinguish the various treatment modalities for hearing loss.
- Identify which patients may benefit from surgical management of nasal obstruction.
- Explore various diagnostic and treatment modalities for chronic cough and hoarseness.
- Review new developments in the field of otolaryngology.
Intended Audience
This course is intended for all levels of primary care providers with interest in the management of ear, nose, and throat-related problems. Audience includes practicing physicians, physicians’ assistants, nurse practitioners, and other allied healthcare providers.
