Ensemble (Level 4) is our highest-level group and by invitation to more experienced improvisers who have developed their skills through Improvers and Headway. The focus is creative collaboration and performance development.
Classes emphasise group mind, trust, scene dynamics, storytelling, and invention. We develop fresh long-form and narrative-based formats while continuing to stretch range, responsiveness and stagecraft. Ideas are explored in depth as the ensemble experiments with structure and shapes performances for the stage.
Performance: Ensemble may join in our Improv Club and Rat Race showcases, as well as in occasional stand-alone performances such as 4 in 1 Night Only and Court in the Act.
