Jump on the bus for a bagpipe-oriented day of fun hosted by Gary West! This trip is a collaboration between the Celtic Arts Foundation and Enjoy Your Piping's very own Gary West. This trip is limited to 45 participants, so please book early to avoid disappointment!You do not need to be a piper to get on the bus. Piping enthusiasts and those who are piping-curious are very welcome.
The bus will depart from Ferndale, WA at 9:30am and the first stop will be the Lee & Sons workshop in Burnaby, B.C. Jack and Andrew Lee will be there to give a tour, show us their pipe-making process, answer your questions, and maybe share a few tunes!
From there we'll hop back on the bus and toddle off to lunch at Patina Brewing in Port Coquitlam where you can opt-in to the group meal buffet or purchase your own from the counter.
We'll finish off the day with a trip to TartanTown where Terry Lee will host us for the afternoon. We will hear from Terry and Gary, explore the retail offerings of Tartan Town, and enjoy some piping! The bus will return back to Ferndale, WA by 6pm.
Gary plans on turning recordings from this trip into an episode of his popular piping podcast, Enjoy Your Piping, including recordings from the day, interviews, and musical selections. Be part of history!
Attendees are responsible for learning about and providing the appropriate identification requirements for entering Canada, and for your return into the United States.
