This free event is perfect for young anglers who are eager to learn the basics of fishing. The clinic will begin with a one-hour session of hands-on learning, followed by two hours of catch and release fishing practice, putting their new skills to the test. Free pizza and water will be provided for lunch after the catch and release practice. The clinic will be taught by Melissa Robell, the Visitor Services Specialist at Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge. With only 50 spots available, be sure to register early to secure a place for your child. Fishing poles and bait will be supplied to all registered participants, please register each child separately.
