Presented by the Youthpreneur Network, English Quest is not just an event—it’s an enchanting journey into the magical world of the English language. Much like Hogwarts, where young wizards and witches hone their craft, this signature project is designed to help participants harness the spellbinding power of words. Whether you’re a daring word warrior, a storyteller weaving tales that cast a spell on listeners, or an orator commanding an audience with eloquence, English Quest promises to be a celebration of language, creativity, and intellect.
Event Segments:
1. Spelling & Vocabulary Bee: “Word Warriors”
Step into the arena and test your mettle in a battle of words! Word Warriors is where sharp minds duel to conquer the trickiest of spellings and demonstrate their linguistic prowess. Will you emerge as the master of words, casting spells of eloquence and quick thinking?
2. Creative Writing Contest: “Story Weaver”
As Dumbledore once said, “Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic.” Story Weaver invites you to wield your pen like a wand, crafting imaginative tales that captivate the heart and mind. Dive into the boundless realms of creativity and bring your stories to life.
3. Wall Magazine Contest: “The Expression Wall”
Picture this: a grand tapestry of thought and artistry. The Expression Wall challenges teams to blend the magic of visuals and words, creating wall magazines that provoke thought, inspire imagination, and enchant the beholder.
4. Oratory Challenge: “Young Speakers Showcase”
Channel your inner Dumbledore and take the stage with confidence. Young Speakers Showcase is your moment to shine as a persuasive and eloquent orator. Cast your verbal spells to connect with audiences and champion your ideas.
5. Storytelling Contest: “Tales of Imagination”
In Tales of Imagination, participants step into the role of master storytellers, enchanting listeners with narratives that spark wonder and awe. With every word, you’ll weave a tapestry of magic, transporting your audience into realms of creativity.
6. Language Games Contest
Enter a room filled with the allure of intellectual puzzles and games. Whether solving crosswords, constructing sentences, or cracking linguistic riddles, this segment is designed to challenge your mind and bring the fun of language to life.
7. English Olympiad
A test as rigorous as any wizarding exam! The English Olympiad pits participants against the toughest challenges of grammar, vocabulary, and literature. Only the most knowledgeable and skillful will emerge victorious in this ultimate trial.
8. Scrap-Book
Like a wizard’s spellbook, the Scrap-Book segment invites participants to showcase their creativity through vibrant, thoughtfully curated pages. With topics ranging from whimsical musings to thought-provoking ideas, this is your chance to make magic with words and visuals.
9. Turn The Coat
In this thrilling debate challenge, participants must switch sides mid-argument, showcasing their adaptability and mastery over language. Can you think on your feet and argue both sides of the coin with equal flair? Find out in Turn The Coat!
10. Tongue Twister Challenge
"She sells seashells by the seashore”—easy enough? Think again. In the Tongue Twister Challenge, participants must navigate through a labyrinth of tricky phrases with precision and fluency. It’s a delightful test of articulation that’s sure to leave everyone spellbound and in stitches.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Registration Fee: BDT 300
With a registration fee of BDT 300, participants can compete in all segments of their respective categories. Registration is available both online and offline.
Registration Deadline: January 15 2024, 10PM
1) Online Registration Procedure:
• To begin, participants must pay the registration fee to our official merchant number via one of the following platforms:

Available Payment Options: BKash, Nagad, UPAY, Tap, or OK Wallet
• When making the payment, please select the ‘Payment’ option (not ‘Send Money’) and use the reference code “EQ”.
• Save the Transaction ID and the number from which the fee was sent.
• After making the payment, fill out the online registration form and include the Transaction ID and the number from which the fee was sent in the specified field.
• The registration will be completed once the form is submitted with the required information.
• Please ensure the reference code is entered correctly during the payment process. Inaccurate or missing information will result in the non-acceptance of the registration.
• Upon successful registration, participants will receive their admit card and event schedule within 2 days.

2) Offline Registration Procedure:
Participants may also complete their registration through the following methods:
• Method 1: Visit our office, fill out the registration form, and submit the registration fee.
• Method 2: Register through any of our designated Volunteers/Campus Directors, who will provide the form and accept the registration fee.
Additional Rules:
1. Participants will receive a certificate of participation, along with snacks and a soft drink.
2. Participants must wear their institutional uniform and bring their ID card on the day of the competition.
3. Participants must arrive at the venue at least one hour before the event begins.
4. No registration will be accepted without payment of the registration fee.
5. A calculator may be used during the competition.
6. The registration deadline is January 15 2024, 10PM. No registrations will be accepted after this time.
7. Participants will receive their admit card by email after the registration period ends. The admit card must be printed and presented at the event.
Cancellation of Registration:
The following actions will result in automatic cancellation of a participant’s registration:
1. Providing false information on the registration form.
2. Using fake transaction IDs or transaction numbers during online registration.
3. Misconduct during any competition or event segment, including using mobile phones or electronic devices.
4. Creating disturbances at the event venue, carrying firearms, cigarettes, or intoxicants.
5. Displaying disrespectful behavior towards any participant or event staff.
6. Engaging in harassment, whether physical, mental, or verbal.
7. Damaging or stealing event property.
8. Making negative comments or spreading false information about the event, organizers, or venue on social media or any other platform.
Participants found violating these rules will be asked to leave the venue immediately, and appropriate legal actions may be taken.
Awards & Recognition:
1. The top 3 candidates/teams in each category will receive awards
2. All participants will receive a certificate of participation, along with snacks and drinks.
Important Notes:
1. Registration fees are non-refundable.
2. Youthpreneur Network reserves the right to make changes, modifications, or additions to the event, as necessary, for the benefit of the carnival. The organization is not liable for any claims from other individuals or organizations.
