WHY:

• To partner with a homeowner on the renovation of their future home!
• To increase African-American homeownership in our neighborhood.
• To create a model of mutually beneficial relationships and development in our community.

"I started this work to increase positive development, generational wealth, and black homeownership. It is important to me to partner with community groups in order to find someone who is invested in this community, wants to live here, and wants to build up the community and the block they will live on. I would like them to be involved as early as possible so that they can see the quality of work that is going into the house, and also influence the decisions that are made about materials and finishes." - Brian Haynes
