With expert guest speakers:
Professor Andrew Bowie sharing perspectives on geo-engineering strategies and large-scale solutions to climate change.
Dr Dan Luo is an architect with a strong computer science background. Her research focuses on sustainable development, specifically looking at machine learning approaches. This includes 3D printing and its application to artificial reef development
Dr Masayuki “Masa” Tatsumi, Head of Research and Development at Sea Forest sharing perspectives of nature and industry-based solutions such as Algae cultivation.
Dr Scott Bennet professor at UTAS who will provide insights from his expertise in kelp restoration nature-based solutions to climate change.
Dr Sarah Russell, the Director of the Climate Change Office in Renewables, Climate and Future Industries Tasmania, part of the Department of State Growth. Sharing her perspectives from a government led role embedding climate change into government decision making.
