Recognize. Respond. Rise.
One of the most important warning signs is abnormal uterine bleeding, including bleeding or spotting after menopause. Other changes in bleeding patterns should also be discussed with a healthcare professional.
Endometrial Health Matters will combine medical education with patient experience and community resources. Patient stories will highlight the personal endometrial cancer journey, including the role that genetics and understanding family history can play in cancer risk.
The event will also examine endometrial cancer through a Washington, D.C., community lens, providing information about local disparities and opportunities to improve awareness, early evaluation, treatment and participation in clinical research.

Audience: Women ages 30 and older, with particular outreach to Black women, women approaching or experiencing menopause, postmenopausal women, and women with risk factors including obesity, diabetes, PCOS or a family history of uterine or colorectal cancer.
