About this Event

I am so excited to offer a fun summer family mini photo session at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art on Saturday, August 8, and Sunday, August 9. Some families are sending off their kids to college for the first time, while others are entering middle school, or even those small kinders going to school for the first time! Regardless of the age of your kids (or pets), they are all worth documenting! The reason I use the word "documenting" instead of photograghing is because I wholeheartedly believe that photographs help tell and share the stories of our lives. These photographs are not just physical or digital pictures, they hold sentiments, warmth, and a sense of nostalgia that shapes and influences our present day and future lives. I hope to capture these moments for you and your family so you can hold on to them forever.
