Join us for the 9th Annual END ADDICTION BHAM Walkpresented by ETA!
Together, we'll walk to honor those we've lost, celebrate those in recovery, and offer hope to those still struggling. Every step we take helps raise awareness about the substance use crisis affecting our community. TOGETHER WE CAN help save lives and build a stronger, healthier future for Birmingham and the state of Alabama.
The END ADDICTION BHAM Walk presented by ETA is a FREE event hosted by the Addiction Prevention Coalition. This 9th annual event raises awareness and funds to help combat the addiction epidemic in Alabama.
Your participation in this event directly supports life-saving programs in our community. Every dollar raised helps us:
- Communicate awareness of the ADDICTION problem and inspire hope.
- Provide education for the PREVENTION of substance misuse.
- Assist those seeking CONNECTION by creating Coalition in the community.

Event Location: City Walk BHAM Amphitheater - 9th Avenue & 21st Street, Birmingham
Check-in/Registration Time: 10:00 AM
Program Begins: 11:00 AM
Price: Free to attend & walk | $35 to register and receive a T-shirt, "Walking for" credentials, and other EAB swag
*REGISTER AS A TEAM*
When you register as a team, you'll get to choose your own team name. Many teams walk in honor of a loved one who has suffered from substance use disorder or or in memory of a loved one they lost. Every team gets a team fundraising page where you can share your story of why you're walking and raise money for the cause. Teams that raise $250 or more will have their team name printed on a banner and displayed at a prominent Birmingham location. The top 3 fundraisers will be recognized at the event. Each team member will register for $35 per person and receive an END ADDICTION BHAM Walk T-shirt, an 'I'm Walking For' Lanyard and more.
*REGISTER AS AN INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPANT*
If you do not wish to register as a team, you can register as an individual participant. Every registered participant will receive an END ADDICTION BHAM Walk T-shirt, an 'I'm Walking For' Lanyard and more. Registration is $35 per person. You'll also get a personalized fundraising page to help us spread the word and raise funds for the event. The top 3 fundraisers will be presented with an award at the event!
*SIGN UP TO BE A FUNDRAISER ONLY*
Can't make it to the event? Or not planning to register? You can still participate in fundraising by signing up to be a fundraiser (without the registration)! You'll get a fundraising page to share with your friends and encourage them to help you raise money! The top 3 fundraisers will be recognized at the event.
Online registration closes at 5:00 PM CST on Thursday, April 3rd. However, you can still register in person on the day of the event. A huge THANK YOU for investing in the future and partnering with the Addiction Prevention Coalition and our mission to end substance misuse in our community!
