Cacao begins somewhere. Discover Guémon, Côte d’Ivoire its origin, its journey, and what it becomes. Then experience it around the cup.
About this Event

I come from Côte d’Ivoire, the world’s leading cacao-producing country. But I want to know more than how much we produce. Where does it begin? Who is behind it? Where does it travel, and what does it become in the hands of those who choose to work with it?

Encounters is my way of finding out.

Chapter One: Guémon

For our first chapter, we begin with Guémon, a cacao-growing region in western Côte d’Ivoire.

Our Encounter follows Guémon cacao through Maison A. Morin in France, discovering how an Ivorian origin travels, how it is worked with and transformed, and what it can become.

This is not just a tasting. It is an invitation to come around the cup, experience the cacao, and discover part of the story behind it.

The Encounter Experience

Join us for an intimate Saturday morning featuring:

  • Hot & iced cacao, crafted and served by Bold & Brave Coffee
  • A curated selection of pastries
  • Conversation & storytelling around Guémon, Ivorian cacao, its journey, and the people and craft along the way

Come curious, enjoy the cacao, ask questions, and be part of the beginning of Encounters.
