Encounter With Christ is a weekend retreat for young single adults (18-34) which offers quiet time for prayer, rest, and presentations by a Sister on ways of meeting Christ in everyday life. In between conferences there will be time for reading and reflection. Other offerings include Saturday Vespers with the Community, Holy Hour with the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and Sunday Eucharist. Also we suggest you consider a technology "fast" throughout the weekend.Pricing: $250 per person.
Retreat cost includes meals from Saturday breakfast through Sunday lunch, private room, linen and towels, and retreat facilitator fee.
Shared room discount pricing: $220 per person.

Retreat facilitator, Sister Marian Davis, O.S.B., Ph.D., is an educator who has taught English in high school and college for many years. She has also continued her studies in theology, scripture and Benedictine life, and has attended programs in Israel and Rome. She served as a faculty member for the Spring Hill Theology Program, and as a campus minister at the University of Alabama. More recently, she has offered several programs for the Benedictine Sisters Retreat Center, often linking the essential connection of poetry and spirituality.
