Encounter Evening

This month we will be continuing to lean into hosting the supernatural presence of God and expecting Him to meet us in a profound way. So yes, there will be worship songs, yes, singing in the Spirit, yes, some bits of teaching, and yes waiting times where we're not rushing to fill a schedule, but more than all these things there will be open hearts crying "Come Lord Jesus" and an overwhelming sense of His presence. This isn't experience-chasing-sensationalism, but a deep heart longing that nothing else will do!
As church, we're called to carry the Glory of God into the chaos & pain of this broken world. Come and let Him wreck you for the self-satisfied mundane and set a furnace in your heart with the colours and vibrancy of heaven. Let the tongues of fire that Moses saw on the burning bush, now rest on each one of us as we experience "the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way" Eph 1:23.
Don't worry if you feel more faltering work-in-progress than spiritual ninja: this is for EVERYONE. But if you want to swim, you've got to get in the water. Just sayin'.
