Act 1:
Broadway Bound Presents Matilda JR!
Matilda has astonishing wit, intelligence… and special powers! She’s treated poorly by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Matilda’s school life isn’t completely smooth sailing, however – the school’s mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don’t abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils’ saving grace!
Act 2:
An Encore original, this ballet is reimagining Little Red Riding Hood, as it tells a redemptive story of choice, consequence, and mercy. A woodcutter strays from the path and is cursed to live a life forever searching for the magic he destroyed. Red, guided by her mother and protected by a cloak woven with love and truth, remains faithful to the path through the forest. As their journeys collide, familiar fairytale moments unfold with new meaning, revealing that true power is not found in taking, but in sacrifice, compassion, and redemption. Through dance, the story invites audiences of all ages to reflect on what it means to be protected, to be lost, and to be redeemed.
