ENCORE EVENT | Celebrity Chef Dinner: Chef Michael & Joanna Crain

Join Chefs Michael and Joanna Crain for a special encore event in Taste Project’s Celebrity Chef Dinner and Fundraiser series! This husband-and-wife duo will prepare an inspired multi-course menu to help support our mission of feeding, educating, and serving our community.

Taste Project did not fully reach our fundraising goal during the summer season, so we’ve added this special encore dinner to help raise the critical funds needed to ensure others in our community have access to healthy, nutritious meals through Taste Community Restaurants.

The Celebrity Chef event series features local chef-prepared menus, generously donated by each participating chef, with proceeds benefiting Taste Project and Taste Community Restaurants. Taste Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit established to feed, educate, and serve our community so they may "...taste and see the Lord is good". Meet the Chefs
Michael Crain, Fort Worth City Councilmember for District 3, combines public service with a passion for food. He attended culinary school, developing foundational skills in technique, flavor, and kitchen leadership. Michael has also co-founded Foodie Philanthropy, partnering with restaurants to raise funds for local charities.

Joanna Crain brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, and event management. She has successfully coordinated fundraising initiatives and culinary events that connect local chefs with community causes, ensuring every event is both impactful and memorable.

Together, Michael and Joanna create unforgettable culinary experiences while supporting the mission of Taste Project, raising critical funds to ensure others in the community have access to healthy, nutritious meals.
