At this spring concert, you’ll be enchanted by the Youth Philharmonic’s performance of selections from the movie, “Encanto,” and the first movement of Edward Elgar’s “Serenade for Strings,” while “The Brilliant Red Shandandan Flowers” will transport you to the hills of China.Not to be outdone, the Junior Philharmonic will open the show with compositions inspired by pirates and rock ‘n’ roll. You’ll also be charmed by the endearing Mexican folk song, “Cielito Lindo.”
For the finale, both orchestras will come together with the percussion section for the driving “Momentium,” which will feature Youth Philharmonic high school seniors on the cello and piano solos.
**There is a clear bag policy, and attendees will go through security.
