WHO: Community of curious plant seekers wanting to discover medicinal plants in their local ecosystem. Guided by DonnaLee Stockwell, a community herbalist from Saco, Maine.WHAT: Walk along miles of trails through forest and field. Pack a bag, tie up your hiking shoes, and join a group of passionate plant lovers on the adventure of discovery as we learn together the medicinal and essence of wild plants with medicinal properties. At the end of the walk, we will meet to share our discoveries and learn to make a simple herbal product (supplies will be provided).
WHERE: River Bend Farm is 313 acres of diverse ecosystems along the Saco River and is home to The Ecology School. 184 Simpson Road, Saco, Maine
WHEN: Monthly on Saturdays 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Raindate Sunday)

WHY: To expand our relationship with our community and plant allies. To learn and experience the healing properties of nature.
DONATE: $10 of the registration fee is donated to The Ecology School
CREATE: Each month there will be a highlighted plant that will be responsibly harvested and created into an herbal product. Materials will be provided.
