Program Description

Enchanted Forest Adventures: Nature Super Heroes is a service-unit–based, badge-focused outdoor learning experience designed for 4th grade and older Girl Scouts. This kickoff will introduce participants to the Nature Super Heroes framework, emphasize leadership and shared responsibility, and connect nature stewardship, storytelling, and seasonal outdoor learning. It aligns with DeKalb County RPCA’s mission and vision, NRPA Pillars of Equity and Environmental Resilience, and the Girl Scout Law and Principles.

What We’ll Do
  • Introduce the Nature Super Heroes theme and how it connects to badge work and Service Unit goals
  • Participate in a collaborative storytelling activity where participants contribute paragraphs to build a shared narrative rooted in our park and seasonal theme
  • Engage in a short stewardship walk, including light park clean-up
  • Create hands-on stewardship craft bracelets using upcycled materials
  • Discuss connections between leadership, service, environmental learning, and accountability within the Service Unit model

This kickoff establishes expectations, shared leadership roles, and the structure for the bi-monthly series throughout 2026.
