If you've never heard of encaustic art, it's the wonderfully relaxing process of "painting" a picture, using a small craft iron and coloured wax. The wax is the "paint" and the iron is the "paintbrush." It's really therapeutic, lots of fun and a real boost to your self-esteem when you realise that you can create some really beautiful artistic effects - what's not to love? The workshop will last approximately 2 hours and during that time you will learn the basic skills needed to produce some beautiful mounted artwork and cards to take home. Refreshments are included.
£30 per person
Please note, this class is suitable for adults and older, sensible children and teens only, due to the heat tools used during the class.
