C lass Details

Join us at English National Ballet School, Chelsea, for beginner-improver level adult ballet weekly classes. With live piano accompaniment and encouraging and professional teacher Alessandra Masoero, these classes are suitable for adults of all ages with some ballet experience.

Ballet is an excellent way to improve your posture and flexibility, as well as exercising your brain. This is a welcoming class that will move at a comfortable pace, including a unique warm up to free the body from any tension, allowing participants to work in a more natural and musical way.

Alessandra Masoero has been running independent ballet classes in Notting Hill for the last 15 years, and regularly teaches the dancers of the Viviana Durante Company. Her teaching method is inspired by the style and freedom of the great Isadora Duncan.

We reserve the right to amend or revise these terms at any time without notice. Any changes to the terms apply with immediate effect from the date of publication on our website or on Eventbrite.

We will not disclose your details to any third parties except where the law allows or requires, or where you have given your permission to do so. Attending a Class

We reserve the right to refuse admission or eject from the venue any person if it believes their presence is likely to cause a nuisance, disturbance or threat to other patrons, the venue or its employees. No refund will be issued.

Participants over 10 minutes late may not be permitted to attend the class. If you arrive after this time, you may observe the class or speak to the teacher with regards to joining in late. Late participants are responsible for their own warm up.

We reserve the right to make any alterations to the advertised arrangements (including but not limited to the programme, dance artist, instructor or musician) without prior notification and without being obliged to offer a refund or exchange.

The use of cameras, tape recorders or any other electronic or digital recording, photographing or imaging devices is not allowed inside our spaces.

Mobile phones and other electronic devices must be switched off at all times.

Entry into School is from 6.45pm. Participants may use the staff/visitor toilets to change. Personal belongings should be taken into the studio and safely stored away from the dance space to prevent trips. English National Ballet School cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings. Participants should leave the building by 8.45pm.

Health and Safety

You are required to complete the physical activity disclaimer before your first class with us, you can obtain these from the School Office on arrival.

Participation in all classes is at your own risk; English National Ballet School cannot be held responsible for any injuries or loss or damage to your person or property. It is the participant’s responsibility to inform the School of any illnesses or injuries that may arise during class or are pre-existing.

For all classes, participants should wear suitable clothing and soft ballet shoes. Outdoor shoes, pointe shoes and soft blocks are not to be worn in the studios.

Waiver

Appropriate physical contact may be necessary by the teaching staff.

Refunds and Exchanges

Refunds are not permitted except where classes are cancelled or abandoned when less than half the class has taken place. Missed classes cannot be refunded or replaced by attending other classes/events. All class bookings are non-transferable.
