EXPERIENCE EN PLEIN AIR: ACRYLIC PAINTING WITH LINZIE JOANNE IN THE GALLERY GARDEN
Join artist Linzie Joanne for an inspiring En Plein Air acrylic painting workshop in the gallery garden. This hands-on session invites you to step outdoors and capture the beauty of nature directly onto your canvas. Linzie will guide you through essential techniques for working with acrylics in an open-air setting, including how to observe light, color, and composition in a dynamic environment. You’ll learn practical tips for painting outdoors, while exploring creative ways to express the vibrancy of the garden. This workshop offers a relaxed and supportive atmosphere to spark your creativity. All materials provided.
ABOUT LINZIE JOANNE
Drawing inspiration from the world around her, Linzie’s works celebrate paint, colour and the natural environment. Through explorations of colour, form, and texture, she seeks to represent the beauty of nature in unique and compelling ways.
Linzie studied at the ANU School of Art and the Slade School of Fine Art in London and has exhibited her work in galleries across Australia and in London. Her achievements include being a finalist twice in the prestigious Blake Prize and in the Albany Art Prize. She has also received the Australia Council for the Arts ArtStart grant and the CAPO London Exhibition Award.
