EMT-B Certification Course (Traditional/In-Person)

Our Fall 2024 EMT Course will meet in-person on Monday & Wednsday evenings from 1800-2200, starting on 10/7/24. We will also have several full-day Saturday skills labs on the following dates: 10/26, 2/22. Tenative state skills testing date: 3/29/25.

Syllabus and schedule are subject to change as needed at Course Coodinator's discretion to meet the needs of course administration.

IDHS EMT Course # (pending)

Prerequisites:

• High school graduate or GED
• Must be able to provide vaccination records
• Must be able to pass standard background test & drug screen
• Must have current AHA BLS Provider CPR certification

• Registration fee is deducted from course total of $1,000.00
• Arrangements for remaining $750.00 are due at first class session.
• Tuition fees cover the student's books, materials, t-shirt and polo shirt for clinicals.
• Course fees do not include NREMT testing costs ($104.00) and these will be the student's responsibility. Students will also need to provide the remainder of clinical uniform (navy pants, black boots, black belt) by January 2025.
