EMSA Approved Preventive Health Practices for Child Care

Welcome to the EMSA Approved Preventive Health Practices for Child Care event!

This is the 8-hour course that is required by Community Care Licensing in order to become a licensed family childcare provider. The course includes:

• Lead Poisoning Prevention
• Recognition, management & prevention of infectious disease
• Sanitary Food Handling
• Child Nutrition
• Identification and reporting of signs and symptoms of child abuse
• Immunizations
• Prevention of childhood injuries
• Emergency preparedness & evacuation
• Caring for children with special needs

1 . Tuesday, August 12th, 2025 , From 1:30PM - 5:30PM

2 . AND Thursday, August 14th, 2025, From 1:30PM - 5:30PM

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER HERE COMPLETELY FILLING IN ALL THE REQUIRED QUESTIONS. ANY INCOMPLETE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE UNENROLLED. (THIS WILL REGISTER YOU FOR BOTH DAYS)

**This is a two-part training. You must attend both sessions to receive your certificate. No make-ups for any portion of this class will be allowed**

NOTE: Please plan to be here early or on time as there will be no late admittance. Doors will open 10 minute till training starts. Doors will be locked at 1:45
