Jenna from Heroes Helping Those with Special Needs will be our speaker.
She will be helping First Responders better understand Autistic Patients and how to properly interact with them. Learn how to recognize, respond to & de-escalation techniques. Learn about Sensory Bags that they donate & how they can help. Learn about Stimming, Echolia, & Scripting as well as Meltdowns and & hot handle them in an emergency.
This class is open to Any Agency, EMS/Fire/Police/Dispatch, Hospital Staff are welcome as well... Con Ed will be issued.
This class is Monday, April 21st from 6p-8p. A-Shift
