Emprender desde la ciencia, la nueva oportunidad del ecosistema “deeptech”

The deeptech ecosystem (understood as innovation based on technologies transferred from the scientific field) is in full growth. The startups created in universities and research centers aspire not only to be profitable businesses but also to solve some of the most important challenges in sectors such as health energy manufacturing sustainability and agri-food.🧬

A key figure in the deeptech ecosystem are the scientists who decide to undertake and create a startup to bring their research to the market. What motivations do they have? What barriers do they face? What opportunities are there?

In this session we will learn the story of several entrepreneurial scientists and entrepreneurs through their personal stories and the people who support them from the university.

We will see how it is possible to combine the best of science and business and how to bring scientists closer to digital innovation ecosystems.🚀

In addition Horizon10 will be presented the new community of passionate deeptech enthusiasts which aims to foster technology transfer and the connection of scientific entrepreneurs for the exchange of knowledge and contacts the generation of opportunities and professional growth. 🤝
