About the Session:
Join us for a powerful parent workshop designed to help you understand and support your child’s social emotional learning (SEL) skills — the essential life skills that help kids understand and express emotions, self-regulate, build relationships, and make thoughtful choices.
This evening blends foundational knowledge with easy-to-use, practical strategies you can start applying right away. You’ll leave with tangible tools and a Social Emotional Toolkit to support your parenting journey.
What You’ll Learn:
1. What SEL looks like in young children.
2. How to support emotional regulation, flexibility, and focus through play, routines, and connection.
3. Strategies to strengthen your parenting toolbox — simple enough to implement the same day.
Whether you're navigating big feelings, tricky transitions, or growing independence, this workshop will empower you with insight, confidence, and support.
* If you do not require childcare, please report directly to the Christine Apartments Clubhouse space by 6:00 PM (Look for balloons).
Childcare Details:
Drop-off begins at 5:45 PM at FUNdamentals Play Center, 1365 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence.
Our trained staff will supervise your children while they enjoy safe and fun playtime.
Parents then proceed just ¼ mile down Wampanoag Trail to the Christine Apartments Clubhouse for the presentation.
Pick-up is immediately after the session ends.
*Minimum Registration Requirement: We will need at least 5 registrants to run this session. You will be notified by September 29th if the session is canceled. In that case, a full refund will be issued.
