About Our Speaker

Katie Prezas is a solopreneur, women's health advocate, community leader, and speaker. She runs her own private practice in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, Empowering Lactation, where she specializes in holistic infant feeding care, informed by her expertise in perinatal mental health. She holds development circles for fellow lactation professionals, trains other clinicians about lactation-related topics, and has spoken at national mental health conferences.

Through the Empowering Her Path brand, Katie has built a series of local events centering the skills and expertise of female entrepreneurs, in order for women to build community, connection, and confidence.

Katie holds multiple volunteer and non-profit roles including Girl Scout Leader, President of her local lactation association, Vice President of hyperlocal non-profit, Pennies for Pennyville, and more. Through her personal development journey, Katie has deepened her love for all things spiritual, mystical, magical, and witchy. Her hobbies include reading, listening to podcasts, crafting, cooking, and laughing.
