Girl Scouts of Black Diamond Council is proud to announce the Empowering Girls Luncheon, hosted in collaboration with the Charleston Area Alliance & Chamber of Commerce. 💚This new event will take place on Wednesday, May 13, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston, bringing together business professionals, community leaders and those who believe in investing in female leaders.
Guests will hear presentations from an inspiring lineup of speakers, including Jan Rader, the first woman to reach the rank of chief for a career fire department in West Virginia, and Girl Scout Delegates Ellie and Abigail, who will represent our region at the United Nations 70th Annual Commission on the Status of Women.
From local leadership to global advocacy, the Empowering Girls Luncheon will showcase the impact of leadership and what’s possible when we invest in girls.
