When we give our time, talents, and resources, we build connections, gain a deeper understanding of local needs that can help inform both personal and professional decisions, and help create opportunities for everyone to thrive. It sounds great, but giving back can become overwhelming. So how do we give back in ways that are meaningful, manageable, and sustainable? Join Una Martone at the November meeting of EWI Harrisburg as she shares best practices and actionable steps for giving back while growing forward!
About Una: Una Martone has served as the President & CEO of Leadership Harrisburg Area since 2007 after graduating from its Community Leadership Series. In this role, she has grown the organization in all capacities and raised LHA’s profile to the extent of reaching over 2000 people each year. As LHA’s primary educator, Una has far exceeded the Rule of 10,000 and is considered one of the region’s top facilitators. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and was awarded a Doctor of Humane Letters degree from Central Penn College. A continual learner, Una is certified by the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership, Color Code International, Rotary International, and is a certified Coach in the art of Ikigai. Una is a 2x graduate of Shirzad Chamine’s Positive Intelligence (PQ) program. Her purpose is to help others see their best so they can be their best!
