Welcome to EmpowerED, where we focus on building **conscious student citizens** and empowering **parents**. Join us at United Friends School for a day filled with insightful workshops, engaging discussions, and valuable resources. Our goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in their communities, while also supporting parents in their journey to become effective advocates for their children. For Students:Grades 5-8: Sponsored by The Legal Kid Foundation
Students will learn how to:

• Apply the Rule of Law and the Constitution to protect their rights.
• Become conscious citizens and respect the rights of others.
• Recognize the strength of their own voice while safeguarding their mental health.

Grades 9-12:High school students (grades 9-12) are invited to participate in the Educational Law Center-PA Workshop alongside parents and advocates.

For Parents, Advocates, and High School Students (Grades 9-12):This workshop, presented by the Education Law Center-PA, provides:

• Tools to strengthen education knowledge and advocacy skills.
• Guidance on proper channels, processes, and responsible parties to address concerns.
• Insights on recognizing and challenging potential rights violations.

Empower yourself and your children with the knowledge to succeed in school.

*Registration and parental permission is required for students in grades 5-8.
