Our suffering does not arise from the things we own, the work we do, or the people in our lives, but from our attachment to them. Attachment limits our capacity to love and becomes the root of inner conflict. Non-attachment, on the other hand, leads to mental and emotional freedom. It is the practice of living with sensitivity and care, while cultivating equanimity and discernment amidst all our responsibilities and engagements with the world.

About Prem Sadasivananda:

Prem Sadasivananda is a direct and long-term disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda, a disciple of Swami Sivananda. He served for over 24 years as a sannyasi and was Director of the Sivananda Center in New York City and the London Center and is the author of two books; "Empower Your Life" and "Open Your Heart to Love". He is renowned for his engaging and lighthearted talks, approachable teaching style, and exceptional ability to bring ancient teachings from Hindu scriptures to life in the modern world.

Prem Sadasivananda has studied Sanskrit for over 30 years. His teachers were Swami Chaitanyananda of Uttarkashi (India), Dr P Jayaraman (NYC), and his Sanskrit guru Dr. Venkatsubramaniam P, the co-founder of Vyoma Labs, Bengaluru, India, and Visalakshi Sankaran. He received his MA (Master) in Sanskrit from the MIT Institute of Vedic Sciences, Pune, India.
