bloom is a day program for young adults with special needs, focused on teaching life skills, social confidence, academic development, creative expression, fitness, and community involvement. bloomers learn practical skills like cooking, budgeting, and personal hygiene while exploring art, music, and volunteer opportunities.

Our events extend our mission by creating spaces for connection, social interaction, and fun. Families, friends, and new faces are all welcome to join in building a supportive and fun community!

Our founder and co-owner, Nicole DeWard, a parent of two young adults with special needs, knows firsthand the challenges families face. Nicole is dedicated to offering tools, resources, and guidance to help families in our community. This session will cover essential topics such as the NOW/COMP Waivers, available family options, and much more. We’re here to help, and we look forward to supporting you on your journey.
