Bladesmithing 102- Forged Tomahawk (6 Hours)

This 7-hour intermediate courses will build upon basic skills by introducing forge welding with a San mai technique with 5160 and mild steel. Punching and drifting techniques may also be explored to create tomahawks designed to chop and throw. Handles will be provided and all participants should leave with a ready-to-use functional tool. This will be a fast paced class that requires some forging experience, endurance, and hammer skills. Ages 16 and over.
