This year, Emporia’s beloved Día de los Muertos celebration is taking over Commercial Street (600 & 700 Blocks) in downtown Emporia after dark for a vibrant evening filled with lights, music, color, culture, and community.
Join Emporia Main Street and Hispanics of Today and Tomorrow (H.O.T.T.) on October 17th from 5:00 p.m. –10:00 p.m. as we celebrate the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos and honor the loved ones who have passed before us.
We're turning Commercial Street into a glowing celebration—and we want everyone to get creative and help light up the night!
The festival will have:
* La Catrina Contest
* Live Entertainment
* A Community Ofrenda
* A Night Time Procession
