Employer Health & Social Care Roundtable

Phase 2 of the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) is currently reviewing national workforce data with employers to identify priority areas for skills development. While this provides an important national picture, it is now essential that we validate these findings locally to ensure they accurately reflect the realities facing the health and social care sector in Staffordshire. Your insight from an employer’s perspective is therefore crucial.

During the roundtable, we will:

• Review the latest evidence on current and emerging skills needs
• Discuss how well national findings align with local experience
• Identify what is working well and where challenges remain
• Explore recruitment barriers, training gaps, and future capability requirements

Your contributions will directly support the development of a strategic action plan and will help ensure Staffordshire’s voice is clearly represented in reporting to Skills England.

• Company names will not be shared publicly
• No businesses will be identified in LSIP publications
• Information may be shared with Skills England for internal reporting only
