About Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Fall 2025"Why is it that so many Christians make such lousy human beings?” asks a skeptic. Perhaps one reason is that our “spiritual” maturity is often measured more by Bible knowledge than by the way in which Jesus has penetrated our inner person. Even long-time Christ followers and church leaders can tend to ignore their own fear, sadness, and anger, or avoid conflict in the name of Jesus. Many have lived without boundaries in the name of sacrifice or used activity for God to escape from pain.
Emotionally Healthy Spirituality is a framework for discipleship that highlights the inseparable link between spiritual maturity and emotional maturity. The framework combines emotional health with contemplative spirituality in a way that unveils authentic life in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Course is an 8-week course that will help you unpack core biblical principles to guide you into an experience of lasting, deep, beneath-the-surface transformation in your relationship with Christ.
