About this Event
We know that there are no right or wrong emotions, all emotions can be helpful in the right situation. We can start to regulate our emotions by thinking 'does the emotion I am feeling fit the situation I am in?' We can then think of some helpful strategies to help us calm our emotions. Come and find out how Zones of Regulation can help with this. The workshop will focus on:
- What is Emotional Regulation?
- How our brain works Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fawn
- The Zones of Regulation

- Our role as adults in emotional regulation
- Q & A
Whilst this is a workshop for parents and carers of children aged 5-16, we understand that you may need to bring children with you - activity stations will be available.
