Electronic musicians welcome! To book your open mic slot fill in the form at laurieblack.co.uk/emom-sign-up . The only rule is no acoustic guitars unless they’re generating soundscapes or electronic music in-keeping with these nights.
Hosted by electronic music enthusiast, synthstar and “lovechild of Victoria Wood and Gary Numan” Laurie Black. She’s toured around the world with her synth-history show Deadly Synths, and toured solo original music sets with Adam Ant and Professor Elemental. Her 2026 album Noisebleed was recorded at the renowned Townshend Studio with an arsenal of out-of-this-world vintage synths.
Access info: Front door has one step to get in, and two large steps to get into the venue area. All toilets down a flight of stairs in the basement. No step free access or accessible toilet. 18+
Free entry, but donations encouraged to cover venue costs. Thank you in advance!
