Emmanuel Temple Community Workday

Join us Saturday, April 6 for a day of maintenance at the Emmanuel Temple garden. We will be weeding, spreading a small amount of wood chips, and planting Spring vegetables.

This project is in partnership with Emmanuel Apostolic Church and Emmanuel Arms Inc. This church has served the community with weekly outreach and supply distributions for over 10 years. All of the food grown in this garden goes back to the community in hot meals or as fresh produce.

This maintenance day will consist of:

• Weeding, raking wood chips, spreading soil into beds, and planting

• Please wear closed toe shoes and sun protection! (i.e. hat and sunscreen)
• Bring working gloves, a water bottle, and a lunch.
• You will NOT need a copy of your ticket.
• If you are under 18: your legal guardian must sign a release of liability when you check-in.
• Volunteers should not attend the event if they feel unwell.
