Kotimainen Emma Salokoski Voices yhdistää voimansa brittiläisen The Spooky Men’s Chorale -kuoron kanssa kiertueella lokakuun puolivälissä 2025! Viime syksynä kuorot tekivät menestyskiertueen Suomessa, ja nyt on uusinnan paikka! Kuorolaulun yhteisöllisyyttä, kotimaisen ja ulkomaisen kulttuurin yhdistymistä, sekä laulun voimaa - tämä on koettava paikan päällä!Esiintymisjärjestys:

Spooky Men's Chorale
Spooky Men's Chorale on valtava, jyrisevä, höyrykäyttöinen ja mustiin vaatteisiin pukeutunut kuoro, joka vahingossa kykenee saamaan yleisön silmät kostumaan tai kehot hykertelemään iloiseen riemuun. Spooky Men -yhtye pyrkii kommentoimaan nykyaikaisen miehen absurdiutta ja suuruutta, aseenaan vain lauluääni, hatut ja kokoelma kasvokarvoitusta.
Emma Salokoski Voices on lauluyhtye, kuoro ja kollektiivi, joka tekee musiikkia ennakkoluulottomasti ja genrerajoja rikkoen. Alunperin Kuorosota -ohjelmaan perustettu Emma Salokoski Voices julkaisi syksyllä 2024 ensimmäisen levynsä. Levy koostuu kuorolle tilatuista uusista sävellyksistä suomalaiseen runouteen.

Mikäli tapahtuma ei ole loppuunmyyty, keikalle myydään opiskelijalippuja ovelta ennen konsertin alkua hintaan 25 € / kpl. Opiskelijalippuihin vaaditaan opiskelijakortti tai muu opiskelutodistus. Konsertti on ikärajaton. Kouluikäiselle alle 18-vuotiaalle lapselle voi hankkia myös opiskelijalipun ovelta, mikäli konsertti ei ole ennakkoon loppuunmyyty. Alle kouluikäiset pääsevät keikoille maksutta.
Tapahtuma toteutetaan pääosin istumakatsomolla.

The Finnish vocal group Emma Salokoski Voices joins forces with the British choir The Spooky Men’s Chorale for a tour in mid-October 2025! Last autumn, the choirs embarked on a highly successful tour in Finland, and now it’s time for a much-anticipated encore! Experience the power of choral singing, the coming together of Finnish and international culture, and the magic of the human voice – this is something you have to witness live!

The Spooky Men’s Chorale is a vast, rumbling, steam powered and black clad behemoth, seemingly accidentally capable of rendering audiences moist eyed with mute appreciation or haplessly gurgling with merriment. Based on the twin pillars of grand foolishness and the quest for the perfect subwoofer-rattling boofchord, the Spooky Men seek to commentate on the absurdity and grandeur of the modern male armed only with their voices, a sly collection of hats and facial hair, and a twinkle in the eye.
Emma Salokoski Voices is a vocal ensemble, choir, and collective that creates music with an open mind, fearlessly crossing genre boundaries. Originally founded for the Finnish TV show Kuorosota (“Clash of the Choirs”), Emma Salokoski Voices released its debut album in autumn 2024. The album features newly commissioned compositions for choir, set to Finnish poetry.
If the event is not sold out, there will be student tickets available at the door for 25 € each (student tickets not sold online) before the show starts. Please show your student card when purchasing student tickets. The concert has no age limit. Children under school age can enter gigs free of charge.
The event is a seated concert for the most part.
