Emily Ottney has been a valued member of the McKenna’s Place family for over six years. Starting as a hostess and quickly advancing to server and bar back/shucker, Emily is known for her contagious smile, positive attitude, and dedication to making every guest’s experience exceptional.
In December, Emily was diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a condition that affects the nervous system and left her temporarily paralyzed. Thanks to early treatment, her condition was not life-threatening, but she now faces an intensive recovery process. With ongoing physical therapy and determination, Emily is working hard every day to regain her strength and mobility.
Unfortunately, Emily does not have health insurance, and medical expenses—combined with lost income—have created a significant financial burden.
We invite you to join us on Saturday, February 21st from 5–9 PM to support Emily and her family.
