Read more about our amazing presenter below!Emily Knight is a seasoned music educator and passionate advocate for learners with special needs. With over 16 years of teaching experience, she currently serves as the music specialist at Briarwood Elementary.
Emily completed her Orff Schulwerk certification in St. Louis, MO, and has enriched her training through masterclasses with renowned educators Rick Layton, Jacque Schrader, and Doug Goodkin. She is a founding member of Quad State Orff and an active member of both the American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA) and the Alliance for Creative Education in Music and Movement (ACEMM).
Driven by a deep commitment to inclusive and joyful music-making, Emily strives to provide a well-rounded, discovery-based music education for all students.
She lives in Camden, Tennessee with her husband and their four children, where they embrace small-town life—complete with the charm of running their own Christmas tree farm, a true Hallmark dream come to life.
