with Professor Takahiro Tsuchiya of Kyoto University
Co-hosted by by the Embassy of Japan in Washington, D.C., the Japan-America Society of Washington D.C., and the Japan Information & Culture Center, Embassy of Japan.
Dr. Tsuchiya will discuss progress in emerging technologies, such as AI, quantum computing, semiconductors, and unmanned systems, especially the competition between the U.S. and China. He will present on how these technologies’ military capabilities have implications for both the economic and national security of Japan and China, and how the Japan-U.S. alliance has a critical role in addressing this technological rivalry.
